Help with Forum and Server Costs

PinterestLinkedInRedditShare/Bookmark

As of 11/19/2012 lostandtired.com is receiving over 1.5 million hits per month.

What does this mean?

On the plus side, I have a really popular site and a lot of people are finding something meaningful in my daily word vomit. For that, I’m truly honored.

However, this has also presented me with a problem as well.

As traffic continues to increase, the demands on the servers are increasing as well. In 2012, we have had to change servers twice in order to accommodate the increasing demand.

This doesn’t come cheap.

Not only does Lost and Tired mean a great deal to me personally, but I really like to think that I’m helping the special needs community.

I’m doing everything I can to provide the community with a place to connect with others, share stories and find support.

As a special needs parent to 3 boys with #Autism, I can’t do this alone.

I’ve never asked for donations before. I did add a Donate button about a year ago, in response to numerous requests.

Having said that, I need your help to keep Lost and Tired online and moving forward. There are significant costs involved with the Autism Help Forums as well.

If you are in a position to help and you feel that Lost and Tired is a worthy cause, I would be so grateful for anything you can do. I DO NOT want ANYONE to put themselves out, in anyway, shape or form. Your family MUST come first. Please don’t feel bad if you are unable to help or obligated to help, even if you can.

Thank you so much for all your support. Please believe that I’m doing everything I can to fix this.
