My son loves water. he is 4 and dives into deep water and swims under water. oceans lakes doesnt care how cold its is.. he will jump in in the winter time. his baths are an hour or longer… and he asks for them all day. has to walk through every puddle. always at the sink.. or will put toys in glasses of water make them swim.
he even got so upset when they filled the potholes on our street.. and his puddles disappeared.. he got a stick and started digging.. oh he was mad.

it is scary how much he loves water.

outside and animals he does like.. but im not convinced it is more then any other child..

We have taken our 2 year old grandson to the zoo nearly every weekend. He can identify most of the animals and has a stuffed versions of all of them. At home he has problems being gentle with the cats or dog but has no fear. Also he loves water, seeks out puddles and mudholes lol. If one of his animals is missing from his he knows and asks for it.

My son jack loves the water as well. Been swimming by himself the last two years, still with a life jacket.. but no fear. We also have a dog, and jack is rough with the dog sometimes but we have been working on being gental. Jack and micky, tje dog, are like best friends. No matter how rough or how much he tries to wrestel with mickey, he wouldnt hurt him. Its a beautiful thing. Plus jacks communication has blossomed since we got micky. Jack loves to talk to micky and give him commands, like mommy and daddy do, its so cute.. i love seeing them together!
